Sunset

Character
Ciclo Cosméticos Sunset opens with a bright, juicy rush of bergamot and mandarin orange, softened by the dark berry touch of cassis. The citrus feels immediate and cheerful, like walking outside right after a rain shower when the air is still cool but the sun is breaking through. Water lily and jasmine soon join the mix, carried by a clean coconut water note that keeps the florals from feeling heavy. It smells like a garden patio in full bloom, with a glass of cold fruit juice resting on the table beside you.
The drydown moves toward amber and Virginia cedar, but the musk keeps everything light and close to the skin. There is a powdery softness that pulls the sharper edges from the citrus and the green freshness from the heart. It feels composed by Edison Fujita to be approachable and easy, never demanding too much attention or leaning into deep oriental territory. The coconut water lingers longer than expected, giving the floral heart a smooth, slightly tropical texture that works beautifully in warm weather.
Sunset stays firmly in the middle of the road when it comes to personality. It is pleasant and wearable, but it rarely surprises or shows a distinct point of view. The citrus and florals are familiar, and the base settles into a standard amber and musk combination that many other releases use just as freely. It is a safe choice for daily wear, though the lack of a clear signature means it can fade into the background of your collection.
