Mimosa Sensitiva opens with a clear basil leaf that feels cool and slightly peppery. It moves quickly into a dense floral heart where lily and lily-of-the-valley sit beside rose and ylang-ylang. Cassis and red fruits add a tart, juicy edge that keeps the flowers from feeling heavy. The heart is busy but balanced, with the green basil still visible underneath the petals. White floral and yellow floral accords blend smoothly here, and the aromatic side of the basil gives the whole stage a clean, upright posture. Patchouli in the base is earthy and dry, while white musk softens the edges without turning the blend powdery. The result is a chypre floral that stays fresh through its green and fruity facets even as the woods settle in.
