By the dry down, tobacco and amber smooth everything into a sweet, resinous amber glow that clings to the skin for hours, well past the twelve hour mark. It is heavy and sweet, leaning into a slightly synthetic richness that keeps it from feeling truly natural, but it lands squarely in that middle ground between niche ambition and mainstream wearability. The 2022 release is clearly built for winter, though it works for cool fall evenings too, and it is unmistakably a night fragrance.
This one suits a man who wants to feel enveloped in warmth without being cloying, someone who likes their leather with a floral twist. Skip it if you prefer airy citruses or anything sheer, because this fragrance has no intention of fading quietly. The only weakness is that the blue lily novelty fades fast, leaving a familiar amber-tobacco base that lacks surprise after the first hour. But for a cold weather staple, it wears its weight well.
