Aura Tonka
Fragrance notes
Character
Sunlight falls across a wooden table where a bowl of mandarin oranges sits beside a cup of bitter almond coffee. Aura Tonka lives in this morning air. The citrus is bright and immediate, but it does not lead for long. Toffee and tonka bean rise quickly to take over, wrapping the room in a thick, golden sweetness that feels heavy for such a bright space.
The scent does not vanish when the door opens, nor does it disappear into the fabric of a sweater. It moves through the air with enough presence that someone entering the room notices the warm, nutty air before they see the fruit on the table. Lavender threads through the sugar to keep the air from becoming flat, adding a clean, herbal edge that stops the praline from feeling sticky.
Jasmine sits low in the background, letting the vanilla and sandalwood build a soft, powdery foundation that settles into the wood of the table. The scene stays fixed in this clear, cool morning light, where the air is sweet and the wood is warm. The entire moment smells of almond and amber.
