DARK
Fragrance notes
Character
DARK opens with ylang-ylang and jasmine. The yellow floral accord is present from the first moment and carries through the early stage without sharp edges. The flowers feel smooth rather than fresh, leaning into the warmer side of the palette. Strawberry and bergamot arrive in the heart and shift the direction toward something sweeter. The strawberry adds a rounded fruit tone that sits close to the florals, while bergamot brightens the middle without making it feel light. This part of the wear is where the vanilla begins to show itself, still quiet but already shaping the background. The base brings sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla, and cedar together. Woody and patchouli accords lead here, supported by the warm spicy and balsamic facets that deepen the blend. Vanilla adds weight and a soft sweetness that ties the fruit and the florals to the heavier materials underneath. Cedar gives a dry line through the resinous notes, and sandalwood keeps the texture creamy. The powdery accord sits across the later stages and softens the sharper edges of the patchouli. The overall impression is warm and dense, with the floral opening giving way to a sweet, woody foundation that feels suited to evening settings and low-light environments where a heavier, rounded scent is appropriate
