7 THE ENTHUSIAST
Fragrance notes
Character
A lamp burns low in a corner room where the curtains are drawn against the evening. Someone sits at a vanity scattered with loose powder and gold-toned jewelry. The air carries 7 THE ENTHUSIAST by hOUSE OF hELIOS, a composition built by Nathalie Lorson and released in 2023. Orange blossom and tangerine arrive first, bright and slightly oily, like the peel of a fruit just sliced on a glass plate. The citrus is clean but it does not stay sharp for long.
The heart opens with ylang-ylang, tuberose, and jasmine. The white floral accord feels dense and creamy, with the tuberose leading in a way that reads as animalic rather than fresh. It is a yellow floral weight that settles into the space between the skin and the shirt collar. The sweetness is present early and grows as the flowers unfold, moving the room away from anything crisp.
Amber, sugar, and musk form the base that sits closest to the wood of the vanity. The sugar note is noticeable and pushes the fragrance into a gourmand space, though the musk and amber keep it from feeling like a dessert. There is a powdery finish that clings to the air and to the fabric of a sleeve. The blend feels intentional and a little old-fashioned in the best sense.
The mirror reflects a woman who smells of orange blossom, heavy tuberose, and a spoonful of sugar left out near a warm amber lamp.
