Our take

Peach and rose meet first, the fruit soft and a little fuzzy, the flower already powdery before the heart even arrives. It feels like walking into a room where someone has just set down a bowl of ripe stone fruit next to a vase of fresh-cut petals, the air slightly cool and the light coming through a window that has been cracked open after rain.

The middle deepens that floral side with Turkish and Damask rose, violet adding a gentle, dusty purple edge while caramel brings a rounded sweetness that stops short of sticky. Lemon brightens the blend just enough to keep the sugar from lying flat, and the rose repeats itself until the composition feels like a fabric rather than a single thread, layered and a little old-fashioned in the best way.

Oakmoss and musk anchor everything with a woody, mossy dryness that pulls the caramel back toward the skin. The powdery accord runs through the whole wear, giving it a vintage dressing-table character that some will find charming and others will find too deliberate. It suits someone who likes a floral that carries a little weight and does not mind a sweet note being tempered by something green and faintly bitter.

Wear it when the air is mild enough for a light jacket and the sidewalk is scattered with petals that have fallen from trees that are just beginning to turn, the day balanced between warm sun and a breeze that makes you reach for your sleeves
