Ooz by Panouge opens with a sharp bite that feels a little thin. The pepper and bergamot arrive first, bright and brisk, but the apple note sits beside them without fully blending. It reads a bit like a kitchen cutting board where the fruit was sliced a minute ago and the rind is still releasing a sharp, clean sting. The lavender and geranium in the heart try to soften that edge, yet the transition stays angular rather than smooth.
The scene is a wide porch in the middle of the day. Sunlight hits the wooden rails while a warm breeze moves through the space. Someone is leaning against a cedar post, sleeves rolled up, with soil still on their boots from the morning. The patchouli and vetiver in Ooz match the dry dust in the air, and the labdanum adds a gentle amber warmth that settles into the wood around them. It feels grounded and outdoors, aromatic rather than sweet.
