Character
Inspiration is for the person who wants a green chypre without the powder that usually comes with it. The opening pairs red fruits and apple with absinthe and mint, which gives the fruit a cool, herbal edge instead of a candy tone. Galbanum and lavender in the heart push the green character forward, while white flowers soften the sharpness just enough to keep it wearable. This combination creates a crisp, shaded garden feeling that suits a walk under wet trees.
The base is where the argument settles. Patchouli and oakmoss bring an earthy, mossy weight that anchors the bright top, and leather adds a dry, textured finish beside cedar and musk. It smells like damp soil and bark rather than a polished office scent. The aromatic and woody accords keep the profile lean, not plush.
Verdii Fragrance composed this with Karine Vinchon Spehner, and the structure shows a clear intent to balance freshness with depth. The mint and fruit never drown the galbanum, and the leather never overtakes the moss. It is a fragrance for cool air and heavy coats, not for heat or bare skin.
The final impression is a mix of green, earthy, and leather notes that stay close to the skin. Musk lingers underneath the cedar and patchouli. White floral and fruity touches appear only as brief highlights. The scent ends on oakmoss and leather.
