Kozmic Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
The door swings open and a wave of ginger and pepper rushes into the room, warm and bright against the cool air outside. It arrives on a wool coat, settling into the space near a heavy wooden table where coffee steams in ceramic mugs. The spice is sharp at first, cutting through the quiet atmosphere with a clear, lively energy that feels intentional.
As the moment stretches, vetiver and birch begin to rise from the fabric. The scent turns darker and more grounded, with the tonka bean adding a soft, rounded sweetness to the smoke of the birch. It smells of polished wood and old libraries, of amber and leather mixed with a powdery, earthy depth. The styrax and tolu balsam create a resinous weight that feels substantial in the air, wrapping the earlier spice in a rich, aromatic blanket.
Oud sits at the center of it all, not overwhelming but present, lending a deep woody character to the entire scene. The air carries that smoky, warm spicy accord, thick with resin and balsam, as the conversation continues in the lamplight.
