Tempting No. 20 opens with a rough edge that some will find off-putting. The green coffee note arrives sharp and slightly bitter, bypassing the usual warm café impression in favor of something raw and unpolished. It lacks an immediate smoothness that would make it welcoming on first spray.
Around that bitter core, cedar and vetiver build a dry, upright frame. Tobacco adds a warm, crumbled-leaf texture that sits close to the wood, while the base pulls the scene toward heavier ground. Amber and oud lend a resinous weight, and the smoke accord curls through the composition like a faint trail from a nearby fire. The overall impression is woody, earthy, and quietly sweet rather than bright or fresh.
