Blue Leather
Fragrance notes
The workshop is dim, lit by a single hanging bulb that swings slightly when the door opens. Heat rises from a row of curing hides, and the air carries a dense, golden weight. Leather appears first, not as a sharp new jacket but as something that has already absorbed years of wear. It sits close to the skin, textured and slightly oily, with a warmth that feels lived in rather than applied.
As the room settles, amber moves forward to take the larger space. It is resinous and deep, wrapping the leather in a thick, sweet blanket that blurs the edges of the material. Woody notes anchor the pair, giving the blend a dry, splintered backbone that prevents the sweetness from becoming flat. Smoky tendrils drift through the air, mixing with the animalic warmth so that the entire space smells of old timber and heated skin. The spicy facet adds a low, steady hum beneath the surface, never sharp enough to startle.
The amber continues to spread across the room, soaking into the wooden beams and the dust that floats in the light. It grows heavier and more intimate, pulling the leather deeper into its glow until the two are indistinguishable. The smoke curls tighter around the amber's edges, and the animalic warmth breathes steadily in the corner, waiting for the next person to walk through the door and disturb the air
