Pure Jasmin by Parfums Constantine is a daylight fragrance first and foremost. The opening pairs lily-of-the-valley with lily to create a cool, dewy entrance that feels like a garden path in the morning. It is bright without turning sharp, and the green edge of those stems keeps the sweetness in check. This is not a heavy evening floral that waits for low light. It is built for open air and sun, where the freshness can breathe instead of sitting heavy in a warm room.
The heart builds a dense white floral core around orange blossom, tuberose, and jasmine. The jasmine leads, creamy and loud, while the tuberose adds a thick pollen weight that pushes the composition toward excess. Orange blossom bridges the top and heart with a clean citrus lift, but the sheer volume of the white flowers leaves no space for subtlety. The accord reads as confident and unapologetic rather than refined.
Ambroxan and leather in the base pull the fragrance into animalic territory. The leather is not a rugged accent. It is a warm, slightly dirty skin scent that clings to the florals and makes them feel more intimate. Combined with the amber accord, the base gives the white flowers a faintly sweaty texture that some will find magnetic and others will find intrusive. It is a bold finish that refuses to stay polite.
The limitation here is the narrow audience. The animalic leather and heavy tuberose create a specific personality that excludes anyone who prefers clean, transparent florals.
