Our take

You press the nozzle and get a cloud of warm, damp cotton, the kind that billows from a freshly opened dryer. Laundromat opens with an aggressively clean, almost starchy blast of linen and industrial detergent, like walking into a fluorescent-lit Laundromat at noon on a Saturday. It develops into a soft, powdery fabric softener haze, a synthetic white musk that clings to the skin like static. The drydown is a faint whisper of warm water and clean metal, hollow and comforting but barely there. Its overall character is a freshly folded white t-shirt: crisp, impersonal, and devoid of any natural sweetness or dirt.

This is a one-trick pony, but it plays that trick well for the first thirty minutes. The longevity is a disappointing two hours at best, and the sillage is a shy little puff that stays close to your collar. That rating of 3.58 out of 5 makes sense: it’s a hyperreal novelty that delights in a spritz but evaporates before you can really enjoy it. It feels purely synthetic and unapologetically artificial, a snapshot of clean rather than a fragrance to live in.

It suits anyone who wants a momentary hit of crisp, soapy freshness without any fruit or flowers getting in the way. Perfect for a spring morning when you want to smell like you just changed the sheets, or a humid summer afternoon where anything heavier would be oppressive. Skip it if you need performance, projection, or any hint of warmth and personality. This is a ghost of a scent, a whiff of fresh laundry that vanishes into thin air.
