Our take

Aldehydes fizz at the very top, a bright, powdery sparkle paired with ylang-ylang and neroli. There is a retro quality to that opening fizz, closer to a vintage powder compact than modern citrus.

Jasmine and a tincture of rose take over in the heart, soft and a little translucent rather than waxy or heavy, quieter and less insistent than a heavier floral aldehyde would be. The rose in particular stays delicate, more a suggestion than a full bloom.

Vanille, sandalwood and vetyver round out a powdery, woody base, warm without becoming syrupy, and the move from aldehydes to woods is smooth enough that nothing about the fragrance feels disjointed. Sillage sits in a contained, polite cloud, and longevity sits at a fair midpoint, present through a good part of the day without much fuss.

The trade-off for all that lightness is a fragrance that never really surprises: nothing in the notes list pushes hard in any one direction, and wearers who want a bold, unmistakable signature scent might find it too polite. Spring is where the season data peaks, though it stays fairly even across the rest of the year, and the day score dwarfs the night one, marking this as office-and-daytime territory, not really an evening fragrance.
