Our take

Indigo Mist opens with a sharp, wet crunch of apple and grapefruit, the pink pepper adding a brief fizzy spark before the heart unfurls. That violet leaf is the star here, all green and slightly metallic, softened by a whisper of jasmine and the clean, almost tea-like rose water. It feels like standing in a courtyard after a spring shower, the air carrying a hint of wet stone and crushed stems. The base of cashmeran and cedar offers a dry, woody anchor, but the amber is barely a flicker. This is an aquatic floral that leans more into mist than monsoon, a sheer veil rather than a blanket.

The problem is that veil is far too sheer. With longevity barely topping two hours and sillage that evaporates at arm’s length, Indigo Mist feels like a memory you’re straining to recall. It is undeniably pleasant, fresh and airy, but the synthetic ozonic accord gives it a department store gloss that keeps it from feeling truly natural. It suits someone who wants a barely there spritz for a languid spring morning, a scent that apologizes for its own presence. Skip it if you crave any kind of staying power or projection, because this fragrance is a silk scarf fluttering in a breeze, beautiful for a moment and then gone. Wear it to brunch, to the office, on a day when you want to smell clean without demanding attention, and accept that you will need to reapply before lunch.
