Cempedak Drizzle
Fragrance notes
Character
The courtyard is quiet after the evening meal. String lights hang above a long wooden table where a half-empty pitcher of iced tea still beads with condensation. Someone leans back in a chair and the air around them carries Cempedak Drizzle. Tropical fruit arrives first, bright and heavy with juice, as if a sliced cempedak has been left in the warm air. The fruit is loud and sunny, but it does not stay alone for long. Vanilla moves in from the heart, smooth and round, wrapping the sharp edges of the fruit until the blend feels like a thick syrup poured over something cold.
The base settles into the scene like a second layer of heat. Toffee and honey press together, sticky and golden, while musk sits underneath to keep the sweetness from floating away. The air smells like caramelized fruit and warm skin, powdery and close, with a fresh lift that keeps the heaviness from becoming too much. It is a scent that belongs to this table, to the damp air and the low voices, to the way the night feels full and slow.
A hand reaches for a glass and the movement stirs the air again, sending another wave of honey and vanilla across the small space, mixing with the faint smell of rain that still hangs in the garden soil and the leaves of the trees that line the path back to the house
