Marina
Fragrance notes
Character
Marina opens with bright orange and water lily that feel like sunlight hitting a boat deck. The citrus is juicy rather than sharp, and the lily adds a clean, damp freshness that keeps the start from leaning too heavy on sugar. It smells like a clear morning on the water, when the air is warm but the breeze keeps things comfortable.
The heart brings osmanthus and rose into that aquatic space. Osmanthus adds a soft apricot-like fruitiness that blends easily with the orange, while the rose stays light and transparent instead of deep or powdery. Together they create a floral that feels casual and open, never formal. The accord stays fresh and sweet without becoming cloying, and the aquatic thread keeps it airy.
Musk, Virginia cedar, and amber give the base a gentle woody warmth, but the overall blend stays tilted toward the bright side. The orange note is quite strong in the opening and can feel a bit loud against the delicate water lily if you apply more than a little. That loud citrus is the real limitation here, not the wear time.
