It does not pretend to be a bright summer splash. The cinnamon gives the first minutes a dusty, crushed-bark texture that signals a heavier direction from the start.
The heart leans into that weight with iris, cloves, and rose. The cloves push the spice forward while the iris adds a soft, powdery layer that keeps the rose from dominating. It stays in the warm spicy and fresh spicy accords without turning into a sugary floral. The balance here favors the dry side of the palette.
