Our take

A mid-June breeze blows across a sunlit coastal terrace, carrying the sharp, bright sting of fresh lemon and a distinctly cool, watery slice of watermelon. It is an immediate, refreshing shock. Someone is sitting there, relaxed in a linen shirt, and the air around them carries a clean, herbal lavender note that blends seamlessly with the salty, ozonic mist coming off the water. It feels like a crisp, early afternoon pause, far removed from the heavy, cloying heat of the city. As the scent settles into the warm air, the green, resinous character of pine needles emerges, intertwining with the earthy depth of damp oakmoss and a very dry, slightly bitter green tea. There is a smooth, creamy sandalwood presence anchoring the greenery, while a faint, dry whisper of tobacco adds a sophisticated, masculine edge without any heavy smoke. The overall impression is deeply natural and crisp, like shaded forest air meeting the open sea. However, this idyllic, naturalistic buoyancy comes at a cost. The borage and amber base is incredibly light and faint. The scent remains stubbornly close to the skin, refusing to project with any real weight or presence. It is a beautifully crafted, subtle personal mist, but it lacks the assertive sillage needed to properly announce its sophisticated character in any breeze stronger than a whisper.
