Our take

The kitchen window is open to a bright morning. Sun warms the sill where a bowl of peaches sits next to a bunch of chamomile and a cracked star anise pod. Ventunora by Profumi di Sant'Elena lives in that small space. A spray of mint and coriander hits first, bright and green, followed quickly by orange and bergamot that smell like the fruit itself rather than a candy version. Saffron threads a faint golden line through the opening, while black pepper adds a tiny spark to the air. The room fills with a floral heart as rose and violet leaf drift upward, joined by magnolia and heliotrope that soften the edges. Iris gives the moment a powdery touch, and freesia and jasmine keep the air feeling light rather than heavy.

Cypress and sandalwood anchor the scene as the morning continues, with vetiver and cedar adding a dry, woody floor beneath the sweetness. Honey and vanilla bring a gentle warmth, while white musk, Siam benzoin, patchouli, ambergris and oakmoss wrap the space in a soft, herbal blanket. The blend is rich and detailed, yet the peach note sometimes reads more like a syrup than a fresh slice, leaning a little too sweet for such a crisp, airy kitchen.
