Rise of Mysore 2 presents a dense mix of pink grapefruit, hatkora lemon, lime, and sweet orange that sits against ceylon cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, cloves, black pepper, pink pepper, and pimento. The brightness of the citrus is immediate and sharp, but it does not dominate for long because orange blossom, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, tuberose, damask rose, neroli, and lavender enter alongside rosemary and tulsi. The floral side is heavy and slightly indolic rather than airy. Sandalwood, patchouli, tonka bean, vanilla, frankincense, and myrrh give the blend a resinous, woody base that feels warm and slightly powdery. The overall impression is sweet and amber-heavy, with the aromatic herbs doing little to cut the richness.
The spice list is long enough that individual elements blur together instead of reading as distinct steps. Cinnamon and clove sit so close to the tonka and vanilla that the composition leans heavily toward a single rounded tone rather than a layered experience. The tuberose and jasmine sambac add weight that can feel overwhelming on skin in warmer conditions. People who prefer clearly separated stages or a drier, cleaner citrus will find the blend too congested. It suits cooler days when a thick, sweet profile feels appropriate, but the lack of clarity across so many ingredients is the real limitation here.
