Virilis
Fragrance notes
Character
Virilis opens with lavender and mint that feel cool against the skin. Bergamot adds a bright lift while pineapple brings a juicy accent. Cinnamon and artemisia give the start a herbal edge that keeps the sweetness from taking over too early. The top feels active and full, with several notes moving at once.
Amber and amberwood form the center, supported by benzoin and patchouli. The resinous heart feels warm and slightly dry, with the patchouli adding an earthy depth. The transition stays smooth, and the aromatic thread from the opening continues through this stage without losing its shape.
Vanilla and toffee give the base a rich, sugary weight. Oakmoss and musk pull that sweetness toward something greener and more grounded. The blend leaves a steady scent trail that carries through an evening out, and the composition stays present on the skin through many hours of wear.
The synthetic edge in the vanilla is noticeable, especially once the brighter top notes fade. It lacks the soft texture of a natural material, and that thinness can make the sweetness feel a bit flat. For some wearers, that artificial tone will limit how often they reach for the bottle.
