A late evening in a wood-paneled lounge, the air cool enough to see your breath near the window. Someone nearby is wearing Emir Frenetic Tobacco Honey. The opening is a thick ribbon of golden honey draped over dry tobacco leaves, sticky and resinous. It does not shout across the room. The scent stays near the person who applied it, noticed when they lean in to speak or when a hand passes close to a glass of whiskey.
Plum and peach soften the edges, adding a rounded fruitiness that keeps the honey from feeling heavy. White tobacco and a thin veil of smoke drift through the middle, giving the sweetness a faintly charred backbone. Amber settles underneath, warm and slightly animalic, lending a lived-in comfort to the blend.
The fragrance does not push outward to fill the space. It lingers on a scarf or a jacket sleeve, present for a few hours before drawing back to a faint trace. It suits someone who enjoys a gourmand scent but wants it contained, not trailing behind them in a wide circle.
