Our take

Wild and Tobacco opens with a sharp bite of green apple and pear that cuts through the heavy dust of saffron and oud. Cinnamon and nutmeg quickly take over, heating the fruit until it feels like a spiced cider left out in the cold air. Incense curls through the top layer, giving the entrance a smoky church vibe that feels deliberate rather than accidental. The fruit does not stay bright for long. Patchouli and jasmine arrive to darken the hallway, pulling the scent away from anything playful and steering it toward something grounded. The jasmine here is not fresh or dewy. It is muted, almost powdery, and it lets the earthy patchouli lead without interference.

The drydown is where the fragrance settles into its true identity. Tobacco and amber wrap around Madagascar vanilla, creating a warm resinous blanket that clings to fabric and jacket collars through an entire evening out. Haitian vetiver and guaiac wood add a dry, rooty edge so the vanilla never turns cloying. Sandalwood and white musk soften the finish, leaving a balsamic trail that lingers in a dimly lit room long after the wearer has moved on. This is a scent for someone who wants to smell composed and a bit forbidding when the air turns brisk and the sun goes down. It suits a leather jacket and a wool coat equally well. The final impression is a smooth, sweet tobacco.
