Our take

You open with a burst of waxy orange blossom and tart bergamot, a bright citrus that gets quickly drawn into a dense lavender heart. The lavender here isn’t fresh or airy it’s dusty, beefed up by nutmeg and coriander, with rosemary poking through like a dry herb sprig stuck in a wool coat. The base is all tonka and woody notes, turning into a sweet, vanillic amber that sticks close to the skin. This is an Oriental built for winter nights, not summer days, and the numbers back that up: 88% of wearers reach for it in the cold, and only 29% wear it in daylight.

The overall character is a leather armchair in a wood paneled library, recently polished with a sweet beeswax cream. It feels synthetic in the way a department store scent from 2006 often does, polished and efficient rather than natural. The longevity clocks in at 3.68 and sillage at 3.61, which means it sits politely, humming warm vanilla and woody spice for four or five hours before fading into a skin scent. That’s the weakness: for a name like Billion Dollar Collection, it doesn’t project luxury or depth.

Skip this if you hate white florals in your masculine or want something daring. Wear it to a fall dinner, a winter date, or any evening where you want to smell sweet and aromatic without shouting. It’s a competent, cozy spice rack, not a treasure chest.
