Our take

Fashion Avenue opens with a spritz of aquatic green notes and mimosa that feels like stepping onto a rain-washed sidewalk in early spring. The ylang-ylang adds a creamy yellow floral heft, while the citruses and water notes keep things from turning cloying. It brightens, it freshens, it almost sings. Then black currant and cashmere musk creep in to soften the edges, and the whole thing settles into a powdery, slightly sweet woody base with sandalwood. The overall impression is that of a mimosa tree dripping with morning dew, its blossoms trembling under a pale sun. That is the picture. A cheerful, clean, very wearable floral.

But let’s not pretend it storms the room. Longevity is a real weakness here, barely three or four hours, and sillage hovers somewhere between polite whisper and friendly hello. It is a daytime fragrance through and through, and spring is its undisputed kingdom. Summer can work, but only if you reapply.

This one suits the woman who wants to smell pretty without shouting about it. The office, the brunch, the casual afternoon. Skip it if you need a scent that lasts through dinner or if you prefer deeper, more brooding florals. Fashion Avenue is a light, fresh confection, and it knows exactly what it is. Nothing wrong with that. 🌼
