Amaranto
Fragrance notes
Character
Amaranto opens with a distinct Taif rose that carries a soft, honeyed edge. The fig note adds a rounded, creamy fruitiness that keeps the rose from feeling sharp. A touch of leather sits underneath, giving the first impression a slightly dry, textured surface that grounds the sweetness.
The heart develops into a warm, resinous blend. Benzoin and vanilla provide a balsamic, golden sweetness that feels smooth rather than sugary. Sandalwood and cypriol add a woody depth, while the orchid contributes a mild floral softness that blends into the background.
The base settles into a musky, amber-heavy drydown. White musk and amber create a powdery, warm spicy finish that lingers close to the skin. Amyris adds a clean, woody polish to the final stage, leaving the overall impression balanced between sweet resin and dry wood.
It smells like a velvet curtain in a room filled with dried flowers and warm resin.
