Our take

A courtyard in Granada glows under lantern light, stone walls warm from the day and water moving through a shallow fountain. Alhambra sits in the air here, rose curling through amber and a faint animalic breath that belongs to ambergris. The floral edge is soft, the balsamic weight steady, and the scent does not shrink when the night deepens. It moves through the space with a clear presence that reaches beyond the person wearing it, lingering on the air long after footsteps pass.

The amber feels resinous rather than sugary, holding the rose so it reads more earth than bouquet. Ambergris gives a salty, living texture that keeps the blend from settling into something merely pretty. This is not a light companion for a quick walk. It stays on skin and fabric through hours that stretch well past the point when most fragrances have faded into nothing.

Someone standing near the fountain breathes it in and finds the rose has turned darker, the amber richer, the animalic note more present than before. The air itself seems to carry the blend from one end of the courtyard to the other, wrapping the whole space in a single scent that refuses to leave
