Fragrance notes
Character
Vetiver, frankincense, and cedar lean heavily on dry, resinous wood here, and the blend offers little sweetness or softness to balance that austerity. The scent stays firmly in a narrow band of earthy, aromatic smoke without ever reaching for warmth or roundness.
The frankincense brings a clean, slightly sharp resin that keeps the vetiver from feeling too rooty. Cedar adds a dry plank character that reinforces the overall woody impression without introducing citrus or brightness.
The composition sits near the skin and remains at a modest distance as the hours pass. The vetiver maintains its presence through the middle portion of the wear without pushing outward or demanding attention in a room.
The lack of contrast is the real drawback. Without a floral, green, or sweet facet to break the dry resin, the scent feels one-dimensional after a while and may tire those who prefer more movement across a fragrance.
