Magic Mango
Fragrance notes
Character
The first spray feels like a gamble that does not quite pay off. The mango arrives loud and syrupy, leaning so far into candy that it risks smelling like a tourist shop souvenir rather than a piece of fruit. It sits heavy in the air, demanding attention before the composition has a chance to settle into its more interesting parts.
Saffron threads through the sticky opening, adding a warm, metallic shimmer that keeps the sweetness from becoming completely one-dimensional. It introduces a dry, expensive feeling that clashes pleasantly with the juice. As the heart beats, the tropical loudness begins to recede just enough for the wood to show its face.
Akigalawood and vetiver take over near a sunlit patio table, where a warm breeze moves through an open window. The terpenic bite of the wood cuts the earlier sugar, grounding the scent in something earthy and leather-tinged. It smells like a high-end boutique that also sells exotic fruit, the air conditioned but the doors flung wide to the street outside.
The space feels alive with the contrast of ripe flesh and dry dust, a bright orange smear across a floor of dark, polished roots.
