Eau de Strong
Fragrance notes
Character
Eau de Strong opens with a sharp, medicinal edge that can feel abrasive at first. The saffron hits hard alongside the raspberry, creating a fizzy, almost sterile brightness that lacks the soft welcome found in more approachable florals. It is a challenging start that demands patience from the wearer before the composition settles into its true rhythm.
In a dimly lit, wood-paneled library, a fire crackles in the hearth. You sit in a heavy leather armchair, a thick wool blanket draped over your legs. The air is cool near the window but warm near the flames. As you turn the pages of an old book, the scent of frankincense from a nearby dish mingles with the worn leather of the chair.
The raspberry note retreats, allowing a deep, resinous benzoin to rise. The rose here is not fresh and dewy. It is dried and pressed into the leather upholstery. The smoke from the olibanum curls around the room, mixing with the heavy, golden warmth of amber that seems to radiate from the very fibers of the space you occupy.
The atmosphere grows denser as the agarwood reveals itself, dark and slightly animalic against the balsamic sweetness. The leather and incense dominate the final impression, leaving a heavy, smoky trail in the quiet air. The scent is a study in amber and warm spicy resin.
