Our take

Sunlight hits the glass of a corner cafe in TriBeCa, and the air carries a roasted hazelnut scent drifting from a nearby table. The breeze brings cacao that feels dry and bitter before jasmine sambac arrives to soften the edges. Cedar sits beneath the flowers, straight and pale, giving the air a clean line that keeps the sweetness from sprawling. Someone nearby wears TriBeCa Swarovski, and the way the hazelnut and cacao open feels like walking past an open kitchen where chocolate is being tempered. The jasmine does not shout. It moves through the cedar like a thin ribbon, adding a floral lift that keeps the opening grounded rather than heavy.

Ambroxan begins to glow as the morning warms, wrapping the caramel in a sheer amber haze that never turns sticky. Moss creeps in underneath, cool and earthy, pulling the sweetness toward the pavement instead of the sky. The caramel is present but restrained, more a warm memory of sugar than a dessert on the plate. Wood and amber hold the center while the moss adds a damp green shadow that belongs to the city street after the sprinklers have run. The whole scene stays in that bright window of the day, caught between roasted nuts and damp stone, the air still holding the trace of jasmine as the cedar continues to anchor everything
