New York Forever x “Disco Fever”
Fragrance notes
Character
New York Forever x “Disco Fever” opens with a sharp cinnamon note that feels dry and brisk. It does not lean gourmand early on, and the spice stays prominent as the fragrance settles. Patchouli and vanilla arrive in the heart, adding a soft earthiness to the cinnamon without turning the blend sugary. The vanilla smooths the rough edges of the patchouli, creating a warm middle that feels grounded and slightly resinous.
The base brings honey, labdanum, amber, musk, moss and woody facets together. Honey adds a thick sweetness that sits close to the resinous amber and labdanum, while moss and musk keep the foundation earthy and slightly powdery. The sweetness is present throughout the drydown, but the moss and patchouli prevent it from feeling light or airy. It stays warm, heavy and rounded.
This is a fragrance for a dim room with warm lighting and a low ceiling, where the air feels close and the night stretches ahead. The cinnamon and honey suit that atmosphere, and the amber and moss anchor it further. It fits a cold evening when the air outside is sharp and the indoors feel insulated. A heavy wool coat and a warm drink complete the picture.
