Character
Rosemary and grapefruit open the fragrance with a brisk, herbal snap. Caraway adds a faintly peppery bite that keeps the citrus from feeling like a standard bathroom cleaner. Bergamot rounds the top with a smooth, polished acidity.
Cedar and oakmoss shape the long drydown into something cool and slightly damp, like walking past a shed built from unfinished timber. Sandalwood lends a quiet creaminess that never turns sweet. Musk sits underneath, softening the edges of the moss until the whole base feels like a worn cotton shirt. Jasmine and apple appear in the heart, but they stay in the background, letting the woods do the talking.
This is composed by Martin Gras. It suits a man who prefers his scent to stay close to nature rather than announce itself at a party. The limitation is the base. It remains a little thin, never developing the depth that would make it memorable once the initial herbs fade.
