Character
Vetyver opens with a bright mix of lemon and coriander that feels clean and immediate. Cardamom adds a warm, slightly resinous edge to the citrus, giving the entrance a gentle lift without sharpness. The spices are present but restrained, supporting the fruit rather than dominating it.
The heart shifts toward a calm, steeped character built around Earl Grey tea. Lavender brings a soft herbal touch that pairs naturally with the tea accord, while rose adds a faint floral roundness. Together they create a middle phase that is aromatic, slightly powdery, and easy to wear.
Vetiver anchors the base with an earthy, dry woodiness that keeps the composition grounded. Tobacco lends a warm, slightly leafy depth, and tonka bean smooths the edges with a quiet sweetness. The result is a balanced blend of green, woody, and spicy elements that stays composed throughout.
The tea note can read a bit thin when placed next to the heavier base materials. The transition between the airy heart and the darker foundation feels slightly abrupt, and the rose occasionally clashes with the tobacco instead of blending into it.
