Cypriol introduces a heavy, earthy smoke that grounds the heart. Caramel arrives thick and syrupy, coating the patchouli beneath it. The patchouli itself feels damp and dark, leaning into the soil rather than the leaf.
Vetiver and cedar provide a dry, woody backbone that keeps the vanilla and amber from becoming too plush. The overall impression is a heavy, resinous warmth that suits a dim room and a cold night. It feels dense and enveloping.
The synthetic edge in the orange blossom never fully disappears, sitting awkwardly against the natural earthiness of the base. The caramel can feel cloying and artificial when the air is warm. The balance leans too far into a sugary, plastic sweetness for some palates.
