Fragrance notes
Julien Rasquinet composed a fruity floral that argues for itself as a modern city scent rather than a romantic garden stroll. Black currant, nectarine, plum, and mandarin orange give the blend a juicy, edible brightness, while rhubarb adds a tart green edge that keeps the sweetness from becoming a flat sugar line. Jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, and osmanthus layer white petals over that fruit, creating a floral heart that feels polished and contemporary rather than vintage or soft.
The base makes the case more clearly. Cashmere wood, musk, vanilla, and patchouli ground the top with a woody, musky warmth that reads as clean and slightly powdery. The accord list confirms this balance with fruity, white floral, sweet, woody, musky, floral, green, fresh, powdery, and citrus tags all present at once. That many descriptors could clash, but here they sit in a neat stack that feels intentional.
Grand Han works because it refuses to choose between fresh and cozy. The citrus and green facets keep it daytime appropriate, while the vanilla and musk give it a gentle, indoor comfort that survives a commute or a meeting.
