Blue Spirit
Fragrance notes
Character
Blue Spirit opens with a bright citrus blend of grapefruit and lemon. Elemi adds a resinous edge to the top notes, giving the opening a slightly sharp and clean feel. The initial spray is fresh and aromatic, leaning into the crisp side of the citrus family without becoming sour. It moves forward quickly from this bright start.
The heart introduces styrax and orris, which bring a powdery and balsamic quality to the center of the composition. Carrot adds an earthy, slightly root-like sweetness that grounds the floral elements. This middle stage feels warm and spicy, with the orris providing a soft texture against the heavier resins. The transition from the sharp citrus to this woody and earthy core is smooth.
Sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, and oud form a dense, woody base that carries the fragrance through its final stages. The oud and vetiver contribute a deep, earthy dryness, while patchouli adds a dark, leafy weight. The overall mood fits a cool morning or a dim, indoor setting with heavy sweaters and quiet air. The powdery accord from the heart remains noticeable against the wood, but the synthetic edge in the resin notes sometimes feels slightly harsh against the natural earthiness of the vetiver.
