Our take

Freedom EDT opens with cardamom, basil, and pepper. The spice is present from the first moment and stays in the foreground while the heart develops. Grapefruit and melon add a bright, juicing quality that keeps the opening from feeling heavy. Sea water brings a cool, saline facet that sits alongside geranium, which adds a green, slightly floral edge. The aromatic and fresh spicy accords lead here, with the citrus and marine elements supporting them. As the fragrance moves forward, sandalwood and patchouli give the base a woody, earthy weight. Musk and amber soften the drydown and create a warm, powdery finish. The warm spicy accord remains noticeable throughout, so the scent never becomes purely fresh or light. The balance stays on the spice and wood, with the citrus and marine notes acting as accents rather than the main focus.

The whole composition feels open and active. It fits a warm morning outdoors, a walk through a city street when the air is clear, or time spent near water when the sun is up. Someone who prefers spice and wood over sweet or dense compositions will find it consistent and easy to wear during the day.
