Our take

Surprise EDT opens with lavender and cinnamon supported by bergamot and mandarin orange. The citrus adds brightness while the spice gives immediate warmth. Lavender sits in the foreground and sets a clean tone that carries through the early stage.

The heart introduces coffee and patchouli with a soft jasmine layer. Coffee dominates this phase and gives the fragrance a dark, roasted character. Patchouli adds earthiness and jasmine rounds the edges without turning the blend floral. The transition keeps the spice from the opening active alongside the deeper notes.

The base brings vanilla, sandalwood, Mexican chocolate, musk and tonka bean together. Vanilla and tonka bean create a sweet foundation while sandalwood and musk add smooth wood and skin-like texture. Mexican chocolate reinforces the coffee from the heart. The overall accord is warm spicy, coffee, woody, vanilla, powdery, patchouli, sweet, balsamic and citrus.
