Our take

So…? Kiss Me opens with a bright, synthetic burst of pineapple and citron, the kind of candied citrus that reminds me of a gummy vitamin dropped onto a hotel room carpet. It’s cheerful and aggressively sweet, with the freesia and lily-of-the-valley tumbling in almost immediately to soften the edges into a powdery, white floral haze. The dry down settles into a vanilla musk that is more whisper than embrace, a faintly sweet dusting that clings to the skin like the memory of a cheap body spray from a high school locker room. This is not a fragrance that commands attention; it floats in, says hello, and fades before you can decide if you like the company.

With longevity barely over two hours and sillage that feels apologetic, it’s best worn for a quick coffee run or a spring afternoon when you want something light and noncommittal. The whole composition feels deliberately mainstream and synthetic, like a mall kiosk interpretation of tropical fruit and fresh flowers. It suits a teenager or someone looking for an inexpensive, inoffensive spritz to wear to class or the grocery store, but skip it if you want a fragrance that leaves a mark. The pineapple note is playful, the vanilla is soft, and the musk is barely there. It is a perfectly pleasant little nothing, and that is all it ever promised to be.
