Delizia di Marshmallow opens with a blast of cotton candy sweetness, a pure sugar rush that feels almost edible. The marshmallow note is fluffy and immediate, not grilled or toasted, just a bag of jet puffed marshmallows ripped open on a summer afternoon. As it settles, vanilla and a soft balsamic powderiness creep in, smoothing the edges into something more like a vanilla bean pod dusted with confectioners sugar. This is not a complex scent. It does exactly what it says on the bottle.
The overall character is a child’s pillow fort made of marshmallows, cozy and one dimensional. Extremely sweet, undeniably synthetic in the best candy store way. It feels niche in intention but mainstream in execution a gourmand for people who wish they could smell like frosting. Terri Bozzo created a fragrance that delivers instant comfort but asks nothing of you.
The weakness is obvious: longevity clocks in at a mediocre 3.23 and sillage is a whisper at 2.55. On skin it fades to a skin scent within two hours. It suits the person who wants to smell like dessert and doesn’t mind reapplying. Skip it if you need projection or prefer woody or green scents. Wear it during winter for maximum effect, curled up at home in sweatpants, or on a crisp fall day when you want to be the warmest thing in the room. This is a hug in a bottle, not a statement.
