Milieu Rosa
Fragrance notes
Character
Milieu Rosa never hides its weakness. Its presence on skin is brief, fading before the day is through, and it does not project beyond a close, gentle radius. This is not a scent that announces itself. It is a fragrance experienced only by leaning in.
Picture a sunlit, airy artist’s studio around midday. Sunlight hits a glass jar of tart cassis and raspberries sitting on a white table. The fruit is dusted with the yellow, pollen-like powder of crushed mimosa petals. Sliced stems of geranium and jasmine buds wait in a ceramic bowl. The air is dry and bright.
You press your nose to a bunch of Moroccan roses lying across the table. The scent is not a heavy, drenched perfume. It smells like the plant itself, green and slightly bitter, mixing with the dry, woody scent of an oak workbench and the clean, earthy smell of vetiver roots stored in a basket below. A sliver of amber sits on the wood, giving off a faint, warm resinous heat.
The fruit is fresh but not sugary. The flowers are dewy but not lush. It smells like a quiet, creative workspace where the window is open. The air carries the soft, woody, and earthy scent of dried plant materials, clean wood, and the green, stemmy side of a rose.
