Our take

Early March wind moves across a stone terrace where rain has just passed through. The air feels cool and bright, carrying the sharp peel of Sicilian bergamot and lime that cut cleanly through the damp. Rosemary grows in a clay pot nearby, its resinous green scent mixing with the citrus so that the air smells alive and upright. There is no heaviness here, only a clear lift that matches the wet ground and the pale sky.

Patchouli sits low in the background, earthy and dry, while musk softens the edges without making the air thick. Lily-of-the-valley adds a faint white floral breath that keeps the scene from feeling strictly herbal. The overall impression is woody and ozonic, like standing outside when the clouds break and the light changes the color of everything nearby.

A man who wants his scent to feel like open air on a cool day will reach for Zephyr. It fits a walk through wet streets after a storm, or a quiet morning when the windows stay open and the air still carries a chill.
