Character
Preferred Stock opens with cypress and lavender placed beside bright citruses. The lavender carries a soft, clean edge that keeps the cypress from feeling too dry at the start. Citrus adds a brief lift that moves the opening away from heavy woods and into something clearer.
The heart introduces balsam fir, clary sage, and nutmeg. Nutmeg brings a gentle heat that sits between the cool fir and the herbal sage. Balsam fir adds a resinous green tone that deepens the aromatic feel without turning sharp.
Base notes of musk, sandalwood, oakmoss, leather, and amber build a warm, mossy foundation. Leather and oakmoss give an earthy weight, while sandalwood and amber smooth the edges. Musk ties the denser elements together so the finish stays close to the skin.
The overall character is woody, aromatic, and lightly powdery, with fresh spicy and musky accents throughout. It suits a quiet street at night when the air feels cool and the pavement is damp, where warm resins and earthy moss feel natural against the stillness
