#gM - Cinnamon & Myrrh
Fragrance notes
Character
The first spray brings ginger and grapefruit with a sharp green lift, thyme and bergamot adding a brisk edge. It moves quickly into a heart where cinnamon and vanilla take hold, the apple brightening the spice while leather and a warm liquor note give it a rough, lived-in texture. The opening is lively but it does not stay there for long.
The drydown is where the character settles. Myrrh and sugar create a resinous sweetness that feels heavy and deliberate, cedar and cashmeran adding a smooth wood that keeps the blend grounded. Patchouli deepens the base without turning murky. The overall mood is warm, amber, and faintly powdery, with the leather now softened by vanilla rather than leading the way. It suits a man who likes spice and wood without wanting something dry or austere, and it pairs well with dim lighting and a room that smells of polished wood and old paper.
