Celestial Queen
Fragrance notes
Character
Celestial Queen opens with green leaves and bergamot, a bright and slightly sharp start that feels clean rather than sweet. Pear adds a soft fruit touch, while sandalwood in the top layer gives the opening a smooth, creamy edge that keeps the citrus from feeling thin. The heart moves into jasmine sambac, magnolia, peony, and a blend of white flowers. This part of the fragrance is airy and polished, with the jasmine leading and the other petals filling in around it. The white floral accord stays prominent throughout, supported by a light citrus thread and a green freshness that never fully disappears.
The base brings frankincense, patchouli, and sandalwood together. The frankincense adds a dry, resinous tone that grounds the flowers without turning dark. Patchouli gives a mild earthiness, and sandalwood returns to keep the finish creamy. The fresh spicy accord sits quietly in the background, adding a small lift to the resin. The rose accord is present but stays in the lower layers of the blend. The composition feels light on depth, and the resin and wood do not build enough weight to satisfy someone who prefers a richer, more substantial drydown.
