Our take

Bathing In A Daydream opens with a heavy, almost cloying sweetness that can feel overwhelming on first spray. The tangerine and bergamot provide a bright citrus lift, but the black currant leans syrupy and pushes the opening toward candy rather than fresh air. This density makes the fragrance feel a bit unbalanced at the start, as the fruit notes crowd each other instead of creating space.

The heart settles into a thick white floral blend where tuberose dominates. Rose and peach soften the edges, but the flowers carry a waxy, indolic quality that some will find abrasive. It is a dense floral stage that lacks the airiness its name suggests, sitting close to the skin in a heavy, perfumed cloud.

Vanilla and sandalwood in the base add a creamy warmth, while musk and patchouli introduce a faint animalic touch. The powdery accord grows stronger here, giving the drydown a vintage makeup feel. It is a rich, complex finish that suits a bright morning window with sunlight on the skin, though the synthetic edge in the patchouli never fully disappears.

That synthetic sharpness remains the fragrance's main drawback. The notes are plentiful and the structure is clear, but the execution feels slightly rough in the transitions. Bathing In A Daydream offers a bold floral fruit profile, yet the artificial bite in the base keeps it from achieving a smooth, polished wear.
