Opulence Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Opulence Oud opens with vetiver and bergamot. The vetiver brings an earthy, root-like edge that cuts through the bright citrus. Bergamot adds a clean lift that keeps the entrance from feeling too heavy. Together they set a dry, aromatic tone that prepares the ground for the woods that follow.
Cedar, patchouli, and sandalwood form the center. Cedar is firm and dry, patchouli adds a dark, soil-like depth, and sandalwood rounds the blend with a smooth, creamy texture. The patchouli here is not sweet. It stays close to the earth and works with the cedar to keep the profile lean and structured rather than soft or floral.
The base rests on oud, amber, and musk. Oud carries a resinous, slightly medicinal wood character that dominates the drydown. Amber adds a warm glow without turning the fragrance sugary, and musk gives a soft, powdery finish. The overall impression is woody, earthy, and amber-rich, with a clear oud presence that defines the scent from the first spray to the end.
This is a resinous forest floor warmed by amber light.
